A closer look at the details, materials and handmade elements behind each look.
From the first cut to the final stitch, every piece is made with intention.
The process
- SourcingJeans, dress shirts and unworn gowns, collected across Lisbon and Cascais. Nothing new is bought for the base cloth.
- Ice dyePanels are folded, packed with ice and indigo powder, and left to bleed overnight. No two panels come out alike.
- PiecingWaistbands, plackets and pockets are kept whole and set into the new pattern so the origin of each panel stays readable.
- Hand finishLace appliqué, fraying and beading are worked by hand in the atelier. Four to six weeks a look.
